11B: Civic Leadership
Ensure the tourism and hospitality industry is present and contributing to the boards, committees, initiatives, and missions of key regional community organizations, including the Central Indiana Community Foundation, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee and its Race and Cultural Relations Leadership Network, or the United Way of Central Indiana. In addition, encourage Visit Indy staff members to serve on the boards and initiatives of community-based non-profit organizations and public boards or commissions.
